Fujitsu's eco-friendly laptop may raise more questions than answers

Imagine if every time you brush your hand against your laptop, your hand gets perfumed by the sweet scent of cedar wood.
In Malaysia, we are familiar with teak and bamboo for buildings and furniture, but in other countries cedar is popular. According to Wikipedia, cedar is decay-resistant, weather-resistant and moth-repellant. It is even the same material used to build the ancient Temple of Solomon in Jerusalem.
Fujitsu seems to appreciate cedar as much as King Solomon. On its global Web site, Fujitsu proudly notes that if you use its green storage system, the Eternus 2000, you will eliminate enough CO2 emissions to equal the annual absorption of 302 mature cedar trees.
Two days ago, at the Japan Design 2008 Innovation Exhibition, Fujitsu introduced the Woodshell laptop which is made of thinned cedar and green colored bio-plastic.
